India Today | Sushant Talwar

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite the perfect phone if you want to look important without spending a bomb. It's also great for watching movies and consuming multimedia content on it. However, if photography or gaming is what you're looking for from your next smartphone then there are better options for you.

If you wanted "The Galaxy Note" experience but did not want to spend as much, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is your answer to those prayers.

NotebookCheck | Florian Schmitt

We recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite to those who have always wanted a cheaper Galaxy Note smartphone. Although it may be worth taking a look at the Galaxy Note 9, which while it is a few months older, can be purchased at a similar price as the Note10 Lite.

TechRadar | Sean Cameron

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is an odd beast: a smartphone without a well-defined target audience ... but it easily does enough to stand toe-to-toe with others at the same 'flagship-lite' price point, if never besting them.

Despite the fact that the Note 10 Lite comes with an "upper midrange" processor, I didn't feel like it has been nerfed in some way.

The Economic Times | Debashis Sarkar

In Lite versions, brands often cut corners and end up making users compromise on certain features. With the Note 10 Lite, there are compromises - older processor being the biggest one, yet it retains much of the premiumness.

Firstpost | Nimish Sawant

Go for the Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite if, and only if, the S Pen is going to be of immense value to you and you see yourself completely invested in making use of it. The Note10 Lite manages to do most things right, and as a stylus-sporting smartphone, it has zero competition in this price segment.

NDTV Gadgets | Aditya Shenoy

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, the Note 10 Lite sports a headphone jack and has the S Pen Stylus which helps it stand out. However, the use of a two-year old processor is not a good move in our books. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite will appeal to someone who wants the Note experience without paying full price for it.

The Indian Express | Anuj Bhatia

It might not be as powerful as the Galaxy Note 10+, but it's an achievement to see a device like the Galaxy Note 10 Lite that tries to create a perfect balance between super-premium and affordability.

91mobiles | Kshitij Pujari

Considering the competition in the price bracket, the Galaxy S10 Lite is also a phone that is worth a buy if you want to forego the S-pen for a better processor and better video-taking capabilities. If high refresh-rate and gaming is on your mind, along with a decent camera and display, then you cannot go wrong with the OnePlus 7T.

How HandsetExpert Works: We don't run ads on the site, or charge users to use the site. The site is funded using commission links, where we may receive a commission if a phone or tariff is purchased via HandsetExpert. Our editorial, phone scoring and recommendation system and deal-finding algorithms are not affected by this; we are fiercely committed to providing unbiased, independent information.

Important notes

  • We aim to compare as many tariffs in the marketplace from the UK as possible. However, we do not include every package (e.g. legacy tariffs no longer available, or tariffs only available to existing/specific customers), nor do we detail every aspect of every tariff (e.g. international out of bundle rates, on-network minutes, etc).
  • SIM Only deals do not include plans shorter than 30 days or Pay As You Go rates.
  • We work really hard to get accurate prices from as many providers as possible, but some deals or providers may not be included; if there’s anything we’ve missed then please get in touch and let us know.
  • Whenever we can, we will let you know if a deal is time limited (such as a flash deal), and when the deal expires.
  • For tariffs which offer "unlimited" allowances, there may be times where traffic management or fair usage policies apply.
  • Additional charges for payment methods other than direct debit and for itemised/paper billing may apply.
  • Data only SIM cards, mobile broadband packages, and pay monthly tablets are currently not included in the comparison.
  • Out of bundle charges are not included in the calculation of Average Monthly Cost.
  • Contracts may not be available for some phone models in all colours and/or sizes, and a small number may only be available either as a pay monthly contract or a contract free handset, but not both.
  • Providers may increase the cost of your contract by RPI (inflation). However, if prices are increased that then cause a materially detrimental impact, you have the right to exit your contract without penalty. More details available from Ofcom plus comparative information on customer service and complaints handling & their guide on how to complain.
  • Ofcom runs a voluntary accreditation scheme for digital comparison tools (DCTs) for telephone, broadband and pay-TV, and has confirmed that this DCT meets the criteria for accreditation. For further details about the scheme, including the criteria that DCTs must meet, visit the price comparison page on the Ofcom website.
