What the critics say (scores are out of 100)
Australian PC World | Fergus Halliday This handset is a double-down by HMD on everything that worked in the 2017 model combined with a number of key improvements...If you're not interested in the company's flagship offerings and happy to settle when it comes to the camera, the Nokia 6 might be one of the slickest, polished and overall best-value Android handsets Read full review |
|

TechPP (Technology Personalized) | Sumukh Rao ... it's very hard to recommend over other devices like the Redmi Note 5 Pro or the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, both of which have superior chipsets and a better camera setup, and are priced substantially lower than the Nokia 6.1. But then, you don't need to fight it out in the flash sales or worry about after-sales service if you indeed decide to go with the Nokia 6.1. Read full review |

phoneArena | Victor Hristov ... there is one big compromise that you have to make with the Nokia 6.1: its display. It looks bluish, with washed out colors. We understand that you cannot expect wonders from the display of an affordable phone and while this screen is certainly not a dealbreaker, rivals have raised the bar and the Nokia 6.1 display is just not quite on par, plus there is no way to fix its issues in the settings. If you can live with that, the Nokia 6.1 (2018) has the performance and even the camera to impress at this price point, but that's one big if. Read full review |
